What services do you offer besides dog walking?
In addition to dog walking, we provide pet sitting, doggy hikes, in-home boarding, wedding pet attendant services, and additional services such as puppy visits, pet taxi services, and pet chaperones for special occasions.
How long are the walks, and can I choose the duration?
We offer various walk lengths to suit your dog's needs, including quick relief visits, 20-30 min visits, 45-60 minute visits, and 90-minute visits. You can choose the duration that fits your schedule and your dog's energy level.
Do you walk dogs individually or in groups?
We provide both individual and small group walks. Individual walks are ideal for dogs that prefer solo attention due to behavioral, and/or health reasons. While our small group walks offer socialization opportunities for dogs that enjoy the company of others.
What areas do you serve?
We currently service Arlington, Everett, Malden, Medford, Melrose, Stoneham, Somerville, Wakefield and Winchester. We also cover parts of Cambridge, Reading, Revere, and Saugus. Other towns are considered based on proximity.
How do I schedule a walk or boarding service?
We utilize an online scheduling system called Precise Petcare for all our services. Once you become a client, you'll receive a login the client portal, where you schedule walks and other services.
How much do your walking services cost?
Our dog walking prices are as follows:
Quick Relief Visit: $20
20-30 Minute Visit: $25
45-60 Minute Visit: $30
90 Minute Visit: $37
For individual dog walks:
Quick Relief Visit: $25
20-30 Minute Visit: $30
45-60 Minute Visit: $35
70-90 Minute Visit: $42
Please note there's an additional $5 charge per extra dog in the household. More prices can be found here.
2. Do you offer any discounts or packages?
We allow our clients to alter their schedules, including service lengths, at their convenience. We currently do not offer a discount or have packages of our services, however we do have monthly promotions that can be found on our social media, newsletter and on our website.
3. What forms of payment do you accept?
Our payment processing site allows you to keep a credit, debit or bank account on file.
4. Is there a cancellation fee if I need to schedule or cancel a walk?
Yes, our cancellation policy is as follows:
Midday Dog Walks: Cancellations must be made by 8 PM the night before to avoid a fee.
Off-Hour Walks: Require 24 hours' notice for cancellations.
Pet Sitting Services: Require 2 weeks' notice for cancellations.
Boarding Services: Require a minimum of 2 weeks' notice for cancellations; holiday bookings may require more advanced notice to avoid a fee.
5. Do you charge extra for weekends, holidays, or last-minute bookings?
There is no additional fee for weekend walks. However; Yes, there is a $15 fee applied to each visit on a holiday and a $20 fee for in-home boarding services performed on a holiday. Additional fees may apply for last-minute bookings or other services; please refer to our fees page for detailed information.
How you do you ensure my dog’s safety during walks?
We focus on positive reinforcement and conduct all walks and outings on-leash to ensure your dog's safety. Our team members are experienced in handling dogs of various temperaments and are trained to handle many situations that may arise during walks.
Are you insured and bonded?
Yes, we are insured and bonded, providing peace of mind for our clients.
What happens in case of bad weather?
We prioritize the safety of your pets above everything else. In cases of inclement whether, we may adjust the walk's duration or reschedule as needed. For specific details, please contact us directly.
Will my dog always have the same walker?
For the our consistent dog walking clients, you'll be assigned a primary walker to ensure consistency. This walker will have a coverage walker in case they are unavailable due to illness, vacation, or other reasons. If you utilize our services more sporadically, we can not guarantee the same individual will be available when you request a service.
What if my dog has special needs or requires medication?
We have ample experience in administering medications and specialize in providing attentive care for dogs in their senior years, recovering from surgery, or experiencing health issues. Additional fees may apply for complicated medication administration.
