Lucky Lucy’s Pets is a dog walking and pet sitting company in the Greater Boston area. Established in 2012, LLP focuses on quality and professional care for your family members that aren’t humans.
Lucky Lucy’s Pets was established in 2012 by Stephanie after having been in the industry for a little over a year. She noticed the imbalance that existed with professional and reliable pet care and wanted to be able to bridge that gap.
One of the hardest non emergency decisions we can make as pet care owners would have to be finding someone to provide care for your four-legged family members when you are out of the house or maybe just tied up with work and needing them to get some extra attention. While the pet care industry has a high turnover rate, LLP strives to have the best team around. From our part time pet sitters, to our daily dog walkers. We have high standards for our team, making sure your loved ones get the best care.
Yes! We are insured and bonded.
For midday dog walks we require cancellations to be made by 8pm the night before. For off hour walks we require 24 hours’ notice. All pet sitting services require 2 weeks’ notice for cancellations. For all our boarding services, the minimum is a 2 week notice for cancellations, and for holiday bookings we do require more advanced notice to avoid a fee.
We do have a late fee on all invoices that are paid after 21 days. A $15 fee will be tacked onto your bill, and if payment is not remitted promptly that $15 fee will accrue weekly until the balance is paid in full.
We try to take each dogs individual needs into consideration and will either walk them in your neighborhood or a surrounding area. If your dog does not do well in the car, we can make sure to keep them local.
For clients that receive consistent walks with us their primary walker will hold onto the key for the duration of services. We strongly encourage clients to utilize a lock-box when they are able to.
Gratuities are greatly appreciated however not expected.
We do not currently allow gratuities to be left on invoices. You can send your pet care provider gratuity through Venmo or leave cash for them to pick up during the service.
We find that consistency is very beneficial to not only the animals we care for, but also for our staff. For all of our dog walking clients that receive consistent walks with us, you will be assigned a primary walker. This walker will have a coverage walker in the event they are ever out sick, on vacation, etc.
We utilize an online scheduling system called Precise Petcare for all of our services. All clients receive a login for this and can schedule their walks via the client portal.
While cats and dogs are our bread and butter, we’ve had the privilege to care for all types of animals over the years. From hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, birds, reptiles all of types, and ferrets.
